Public space, designed as collaborative practice

Design Hub

inProgress asbl invited local designers from all disciplines to take part in a series of interdisciplinary design workshops leading up to the Luxembourg Design Festival in November 2025.

The designers came together for a series of workshops once a week over the time span of one month. Together, we explored creative processes around the topic of Public Space. Identifying needs, generating ideas, designing concepts, testing prototypes – by collaborating across fields, we open new perspectives, exchange methods, and let creativity flourish in ways that differ from our everyday practice. Rather than to produce a polished final product ; the designers developed prototypes together, while connecting with likeminded people.

The interdisciplinary workshops ran from 14.10. to 08.11.2025 as part of the Luxembourg Design Festival 2025, organised by inProgress asbl in collaboration with Digital Learning Hub.
