What to expect?
Charl Vinz has been practising linocut printing for five years, making it a central part of his artistic approach. This technique allows him to explore more striking graphic design, particularly through the creation of poster series.
The workshop will begin with a short guided tour of the City Visions exhibition. Charl Vinz will present the printing stations he designed for the exhibition and discuss the different stages of their creation.
Next, participants will be invited to try their hand at lost-plate linocut printing. Accompanied by the artist, they will create and print their own poster. This technique allows several prints to be produced from a single plate, while gradually adding details as the prints are made.
