City Visions
A fresh look at Luxembourg – as it was, is and will be

Since the Middle Ages, artists have depicted towns and cities, providing invaluable historical evidence of urban planning and political, demographic and economic change. The urban environment remains a major source of inspiration for modern and contemporary artists. The collection at the Lëtzebuerg City Museum illustrates urban development since the 16^th century, blending history and artistic interpretation over time, from majestic overviews to abstract and expressive visions of the city.

On this basis, the exhibition on the 5^th floor of the museum highlights our city and invites visitors to engage in a dynamic dialogue with the collections. The space is designed to offer a multi-dimensional, multi-sensory and experimental experience, accessible to all audiences and inviting participation.
