Hannes Brischke has been invited as artist in residence for the Risodence in the framework of the Luxembourg Design Festival 2025. Since 2021, he has worked as a freelancer in art and culture, and in 2023 was appointed as a teacher in Communication Design at HBKsaar in Saarbrücken. Brischke will not only be able to​“riso-experiment” but also to showcase other projects he has realized so far.

While exploring the City of Luxembourg through the eyes of a tourist, he builds an archive from found images and souvenirs as part of his project. In an attempt to answer the question of what it means to be a contemporary tourist, torn between collective perceptions of foreign countries and the search for authentic experiences, Brischke reproduces and rearranges letters, forms, and materials he encounters, compiling them into a new collection of artifacts.
